The Pricing Coordinator focuses on Pricing and Promotions and is responsible for managing the DET and PMT workflow processes, and keeping all retailers pricing current and accurate in Oracle and EDMT systems, as well as performing various accounting functions as listed below:

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage DET workflow of price and promotions requests through corporate approval structure 
  • Prepare customer communication and/or confirmation letters, as well as, notify all impacted parties of approved status ( eg.- Sales Manager, Accounting, Accounts Receivable, and Customer Support)
  • Administer pricing changes and updates in Oracle and/or EDMT as needed
  • Validate pricing for all EDI orders and for future month sales plan on a daily basis
  • Administer customer promotions changes/updates in the PMT tool via DET and PMT calendar and process through to Final status 
  • Validation of weekly customer promotions from the promotions management tool
  • Generate two reports on a monthly basis:  DET Performance Reports (KPI) for Sales and LC Price Report from EDMT for communication to Hong Kong
  • Provide functional, technical support and first line training for roll-out and on-going use of DET system and process
  • Manage company's MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) document and MAP History File, as well as, track and report any MAP violations
  • Manage requests from various departments, sales reps, and retailers for generalized pricing/promotions support (eg. - pricing, DET, and promotion questions)
  • Work with  Marketing Team with ad hoc project review (specifically pricing review on documentation created for publishing)

 

SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS

  • Two years of general accounting experience needed.
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, management and others.
  • Excellent time management, organizational and follow-through required
  • Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly both orally and in writing
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and follow through on deadlines in a fast paced and ever changing environment
  • Experience with corporate accounting systems, Oracle and Micro Strategy, preferred
  • Proficient skills using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • High professional ethical standards

 

 

 

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Associates degree in Accounting or a related field, and 2 years of progressively responsible experience in the area of accounting; or any combination of experience and education that provides the necessary skills, knowledge and ability to perform assigned tasks.
